We got to see Brian Regan!

Brian Regan came to the Alaska state fair this year and Crystal and I have been waiting to see him. On the day we went to the fair it was raining and we decided we didn't want to spend 50 bucks each to stand in the rain. Then when walking around the fair some random guy offered us two free tickets his company gave him! Just got to see the show for free
Moose! I saw a flock of Moosen!

One of his jokes was, "So I have seen the space needle in seattle, the arch in St. Lewis and the Epcot ball in Florida, and im thinking are Giants playing croquet?"

A trip to Seward AK

Jacob and I have been working a lot this summer (him more than me). So to get away for a little while we decided to travel to Sweard and Kenai!

`Funny story about how we got there...
So we were suppose to stop for gas once we got to Anchorage, but we didn't and our gas light ended up turning on when we were still about an hour outside of Seward. Luckily we saw a sign for gas in Hope! Hope is a village 16 miles off the freeway and this is a pic of the gas station there...gas was $5 a gallon and cash only. And since we had spent all our cash on subway and only had credit cards we were in serious trouble. Luckily the owner of the gas station was a kind Alaskan who gave us enough gas to make it to the next gas station and said we could mail the money! But seriously showing up to this place and knowing we didn't have enough gas to make it out of town, this was a pretty scary situation to be in.

It rained in Seward most of the time but the marina was still beautiful.

Kenai was awesome! By the time we got there it was sunny and we hiked around the Kenai River, then it started raining cats and dogs and we got to enjoy the fire place in our hotel room.

We made it!
